Peter Jarvis & Friends, vol. 3 - Physical CD - Features Chris Opperman

$10.00

The third entry in the Peter Jarvis & Friends series features a few tracks with Chris Opperman, including “Fang & Claw” (which might be the closest to punk rock the famed classical label Naxos has ever released) and “A Vaudevillian Circus in the City,” a six-movement duo improvisation between Opperman and Jarvis. Opperman also played bass drum and trumpet on Jarvis’s Structures 3, op. 119.

The album also features brilliant compositions by Milton Babbitt, Frederic Rzewski, Gene Pritsker, Glen Velez, and others and boasts cover artwork from the legendary Mark Kostabi.
