Chris "Oppy" Opperman is premiering a new orchestral work called "The Cribbage Variations" at Rutgers University on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 7PM in Shindall Hall. He kindly gave us a half hour of his time to talk through the piece, which includes some very interesting insight into 12-tone serialism, aleatoric composition, generative music, and more.
