Purple Cow Records has finally unveiled Chris Opperman’s long-awaited 5th album The Lionheart which features 10 brand new compositions including “The Porpentine,” an epic tone poem for full orchestra plus rhythm section.

The album features Chris’s inspired piano playing plus performances by 
world-renowned guitarist Mike Keneally (Zappa/Vai/Dethklok), 
Grammy-nominated saxophonist Frank Macchia, singer/songwriter Kat Parsons, Chris Spilsbury, Jen Kuhn, 
Daren Burns, Craig Bunch, Clark Freeman, Joe Verderese, and many others.

Produced by Chris, the album was beautifully recorded, mixed and mastered by Grammy-award winning engineer Neil Citron.

The stunning artwork was created by Eisner-award winning comic book artists Mark Buckingham (Fables, The sandman, Miracleman) 
and D’Isreali (The Sandman) with additional graphic design by Jessica Marini.
